Intro to the Schedule Module
In this video, I will give you a brief description of the Schedule Module.
The main purpose of the Schedule Module is to allow you to monitor and manage all your bookings. Let’s review the different tabs.
**SCHEDULE** (0:16)
The schedule tab shows a calendar with the aircraft bookings, simulator bookings, classroom bookings for ground lessons, and instructors' schedule and activities.
You will be able to:
• Add, edit, delete, copy, publish and cancel bookings.
• Drag & drop bookings within the calendar to modify their schedule.
• View footprints of all modifications that have been made on a booking,
by who, and when.
• Add private bookings or public bookings.
• Print presence sheet.
• Allow some users to book themselves and await approval.
A user must have the corresponding Roles and Privileges to access the different functionality.
Use the filters to view bookings by day, week, several weeks, or month or filter by base, booking types, aircraft, instructor, classrooms, etc.
There is the option of saving your filters as smart filters to quickly and easily view the info the next time you access the schedule.
The system can prevent double bookings, prevent bookings when there are expired certificates, flight and duty time excess, when there is no availability, when the user’s account balance is below the defined minimum, and when there are pending bookings or maintenance is due. These constraints need to be customized in the Schedule settings.
For more information about the schedule settings, please watch the “Schedule Settings” tutorial.
**DISPATCH** (1:42)
The dispatch tab shows an overview of your flight bookings organized by:
• Pending bookings
• Canceled booking
• Dispatched bookings
• Check-in bookings
• Invoiced bookings
**STUDENTS** (1:56)
The Students tab shows an overview of the students enrolled in a course, their current phase, the next lesson to schedule, and their main instructor. This allows for quick scheduling without errors.
