Mandatory User Certificates
(In this tutorial, I will show you how to configure Mandatory User Certificates.)
Mandatory Certificates prevent booking and/or dispatch if the option "Prevent if certificate missing or expired" is checked off in your Settings. Certificates selected below will show up as missing or expired until they are updated. If no mandatory certificates are defined, then only the certificates that are checked in the system are the medical certificate and SEP/MEP.
INSTRUCTOR’S VIEW: (0:34)
For example, if you have several types of instructors that require different licenses you can create different roles such as “Instructor PPL”, “Instructor ATPL”, "Theoretical Instructor", "Examiner CPL", and then the required special certificates for each role.
STUDENT’S VIEW: (0:57)
You can also do the same for students in different courses. Create roles such as "Student PPL", "Student ATPL", "Student ATPL Theory Modular", and select the mandatory certificates for each role.
ROLES AND PRIVILEGES: (1:16)
As you create a new role, you can set up the corresponding mandatory certificates. Let me show you how to set this up:
1. First, log in to your account.
2. Go to the Users Module.
3. Click on the Roles button on the top right-hand corner of the page.
4. Select a role from the drop-down list.
5. Go to the Certificates tab.
6. Here you can select from the list all the certificates that should be considered mandatory for the user role.
You can choose from the list of Licenses, which ones to set as mandatory for the specific role.
1. Next, select the Ratings.
2. And finally, check off the box for the Certificates that you want to set as a requirement.
