Schedule Settings for Super Administrators
*These settings are only available for super administrators.*
In this tutorial, I will show you how to change your Schedule Settings.
To access these features, first log in with your Super-Admin credentials.
Schedule:
1. Expand the menu in the top left-hand corner of the page.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select the Schedule tab.
This section allows you to set the settings of the Schedule:
1. First, you can choose to display the Schedule in Local Time or UTC.
2. Then you can enter an ICAO airport code and Private-Radar will automatically calculate the night times, based on that airport.
3. In the Parameters by default, you can set up the default time for a new booking. If you select “Create new bookings private by default”, any new bookings created will automatically be set to private. A private booking allows you to create a pre-schedule, and then publish it later. Private bookings are not visible until they are published.
Next, you have the option to add constraints to your Schedule, which prevents from saving Bookings with certain conditions.
4. You can implement constraints on Operational Hours, Aircraft and Users. Simply toggle the button next to the constraint you wish to apply.
Note: If a User or Aircraft does not meet the requirements of these constraints, a warning will appear when you create a new booking. Make sure everything is in order before you create a new booking.
5. Next, you can change the default pre-briefing and post-briefing times. Please note that, in case there are briefing times specified on a lesson, those will be taken into account instead of the default times.
6. You also have the option to create Flights automatically from the Schedule. When selected, a Flight with the booking information will be created 30 minutes after the booking has started.
7. You can customize the cancelation reasons, available in the Schedule, at the end of the page. Delete or edit cancelation reasons by clicking on the corresponding “trashcan” or “pencil” icons. To add a new cancellation reasons click on the button “Add” located below the list of cancellation reasons.
8. The different colors represent the flight and booking types. For example, yellow for an instructional flight, blue for a solo flight, red for an exam, and so on.
Don’t forget to save!
