How to Upload Your Signature, Sign Flight Sheets & Evaluations
In this tutorial, you will learn how to upload your signature, sign flight session sheets, class presence sheets, and evaluations.
You can set signatures as mandatory for instructors and/or students, this way all completed flight and ground lessons will require a signature from the crew.
UPLOAD SIGNATURE: (0:24)
1. First, log in to your account.
2. Go to the Me or the Users Module and choose a user.
3. Click on the Signatures tab.
4. Click on the “Upload Signature” button.
5. Click on the message “Click here to upload an image or a pdf”.
6. Upload your e-signature and close the window to save it.
SIGN DOCUMENTS: (0:47)
Now that you have uploaded your signature, you can start signing documents.
1. Go to the Me Module.
2. Click on the Signatures tab.
3. Click on the pencil next to the flight or class document you want to sign. A window with your flight evaluation or presence sheet will appear.
4. Scroll down to the end and under Signatures, click next to your name and enter your password.
Don’t forget to save.
Users will also have the option to view their missing signatures and sign them directly from the Home page. Click on the pencil icon next to the flight or class document you want to sign and follow the same steps as before.
SIGN ALL DOCUMENTS: (1:29)
Alternatively, you can choose to sign all your pending documents at once.
1. Go to the Me Module.
2. Click on the Signatures tab.
3. Click on the ”Sign all” button, you can find this button above the flights' list.
4. Just enter your password to sign and click “Ok” to save.
Here is a sample of what the e-signature will look like on a flight and class presence sheet.
SETTINGS: (1:58)
The primary administrator of the account will be able to define signatures as mandatory for instructors and students on the account Settings. To do so, follow the next steps.
1. Go to the menu.
2. Click on “Settings”.
3. Go to the Evaluation tab.
4. Under Signatures, check off the box “Signature of the instructor mandatory” and/or “Signature of the student mandatory”.
Don’t forget to save.
ROLES AND PRIVILEGES: (2:27)
Remember to check the Roles and Privileges for the Users Module to see which user roles are given access to the functionalities related to the signatures.
1. Go to the Users Module.
2. Click on the “Roles” button on the top right-hand corner of the page.
3. Select a role from the drop-down list.
4. Click on the Users tab on top of the window.
5. Scroll down to Signatures. You can choose to allow the user role to “View Signatures tab and Allow to sign”, as well as “Allow to sign all”. In addition, you can allow the users with the selected role to “Upload own signature” or “Upload signatures of all users”, this option should be reserved for administrative purposes.
