In this tutorial, I'll walk you through the basics of how to log in to your account, what to do if you have forgot your password, how to change your password, and common reasons why you might not be able to log in.

Let's get started.

LOG IN 

When your account is registered with Private-Radar and a role has been assigned, you will receive a welcome email with your password.

Please note that an email address can only be registered to one school / aero club at a time.

Attention: to log in as Super Admin, you need to enter your school’s username. This username was given to you when your school’s account was created, for example: “myflightschool” (be careful when entering the username as it is case sensitive). Remember that the Super Admin login is not an email address.

FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD (0:55)

1. If you have forgot your password, please click on the link “Forgot your password”.

2. In the pop-up window, enter your email address or username if you want to log in as Super Admin.

3. Then click “Send me a new password”.

4. A new password will be generated and sent to your inbox. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder. If it is not there, please contact us at support@private-radar.com.

CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD (1:31)

1. To change your password, go to the Me tab.

2. Click on the icon in the top right-hand corner "Change password".

3. Enter and confirm your new password.

4. Don't forget to save.

TROUBLESHOOTING (1:47) 

"Incorrect e-mail/username or password"

If this error message appears when you try to log in please double check that you have entered your email address and password, correctly. If it still doesn’t work, make sure that there is an existing account registered with the email address you entered. 

To do so, please contact your school or aero club. Attention, the more attempts you make, and the longer it will take to check your password.

If you want to log in as a Super Admin, remember your username is not your email address. 

The Super Admin account is the unique name that was registered by Private-Radar, when the account was created for your school or aero club. If you don't remember it, please write to support@private-radar.com

"Not authorized, please contact your administrator"

If this error message appears when you try to log in, you either have not been assigned a role or the user account has been set as inactive.

If this is the case, you are not authorized to log in and you must contact your administrator.
